Keith's Homemade Hummus





In a blender put Tahini, Arbequina/Koroneiki EVOO, cummin, lemon or lime juice, black pepper, salt, garlic, cilantro and beans (put beans in last). Blend on puree, pulse. Use spatula to move the beans to the center. Add water. Continue blending, starting and stopping to move mixture to center of blender. Continue to blend until you have a smooth paste. Add Habanero Olive Oil (optional). Blend until the oil has mixed with the paste. Scoop out with spatula into a sealable container. It will keep for about a week refrigerated. Dip with flatbread or pita chips. All ingredients, except beans, are to taste so experiment and enjoy!
